Privacy and BYOK
ZDR-only inference — checkable, not promised.
Jobbee tailors one resume per job and delivers it to your inbox. Your resume is processed privately and is shared only when you send it. On Bring Your Own Key, inference runs on zero-data-retention providers only — and the list is checkable.
OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google keys are no longer supported for BYOK inference (they retain request bodies).
Your BYOK providers
§ 01
The data path
You can check this one.
Isolation, processing, storage, deletion — and the BYOK allow-list, enforced in the app. Stated as behaviour, not as a slogan.
Where it lives
Your resumes and profile live in a workspace only you can access; other users can’t see them, and nothing crosses workspaces. Sensitive details like your API keys are encrypted when stored. Your account and search history are kept in a private database, not exposed to the public internet.
How it’s processed
Resume content is sent to LLM providers for tailoring. With your own key (BYOK): only Zero-Data-Retention providers are allowed — they process your request in-memory and don’t retain your data. On the built-in pool: providers managed by Jobbee under their data policies.
The BYOK allow-list, as shipped
DeepInfra · Fireworks AI · Cerebras — zero-data-retention. The list you see at Settings is exactly what’s supported; provider and model availability is enforced in the app.
Your controls
Bring your own key — full control over which LLM provider processes your data (ZDR-only). Delete anytime — deleting a workspace makes its content inaccessible immediately; underlying records purge on a routine retention cycle. Export on request — email hello@jobbee.io for a copy or permanent erasure of your account and data.
Check the list. That’s the point.

The rules
What the product does with your data.
Present tense, shipped behaviour. The full policy detail lives in the Privacy Policy — this page states what the product does today.
Your resume, profile, and personal data belong to you. They’re processed to tailor your resumes; the results land in your inbox. The only path to an employer is your own send.

Before you decide
Inspect it before you trust it.
That is the privacy story on this page: isolation, a ZDR-only BYOK path, deletion — stated as behaviour, and checkable where the behaviour lives.
The other 90% — what makes the tailoring sharp.
The workspace files — project depth, decisions, scale — that tailoring draws on for every application.
